arfink
Hey everyone, I'm finally caving in to the pressure I have been given to make t-shirts. Almost everyone who has seen my work wants a shirt, so I went ahead and designed one, but it hasn't been printed yet. So now what I'm looking for is feedback. Here is a picture of the finished design. These would be printed on white 100% cotton tees, and not the cheap thin see-through ones either. I had some ladies express concern that the white ones are generally too thin, so I've talked to the person who would be doing the printing and she has assured me that these tees will be thick enough for women to wear comfortably without too much fear of having undergarments showing through. (except black ones, but that's fairly obvious) Now there is the question of price. That will depend largely on how many people want to get one. If I can get a dozen people together who want shirts, they will cost $25 each. If I could find 24 people, they would cost $19 each. And the cost keeps going down the more people I can get involved. If I can get a dozen or more plus-sized people (XL or larger sizing) we could do a run of nice big-person-sized shirts, with larger graphics to cover the larger shirt at that same price as well. So, what I want to know is, would you want a shirt with this design, and if so, would you be wanting a regular size, or a plus-size?
FutureCarmeliteClaire
Hypothetically, at some point I would want one. In a regular size. :)
MIKolbe
I can get you lower prices
arfink
Mikolbe, you're welcome to PM me. You're not seeing my cost in this post though...
MIKolbe
i read that wrong... those are your sell prices ($25, $24, etc)...not your cost... But I will PM you a cost
arfink
I do have other possibilities for shirt designs which could be made print-ready in short order as well. The Holy Spirit design I did previously is often requested. Would people prefer that instead?
dUSt
The thin shirts are more expensive than the thick ones so they are not "cheap". haha
arfink
Well, shows you what I know. Just parroting my supplier. :P At any rate, thin white shirts = generally not enjoyed by ladies.
Seven77
I think I want that design on a shot glass or something.
arfink
This is a thread about t-shirts. Shotglasses are for people who drink, and therefore are not for me. :P
morostheos
The thin shirts are more expensive than the thick ones so they are not "cheap". haha I must say the thin shirts that dUSt uses for the phatmass tees are quite nice, and even in light gray are sufficiently opaque such that I am comfortable wearing them. thin, cheap shirts = see through thicker, mid-grade shirts = not see through thin, expensive shirts = not see through if they are truly good quality
