Seven77 Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 Hey Everybody, One of the great things about Phatmass and its mission is that it (she? he? they?) seeks to take advantage of digital communications and popular media to evangelize. Phatmass has helped me to understand that being Catholic is about doing the best with what we've been given, wherever we are at-- and that too is, in itself, evangelization. Gospellization-- transforming everything that exists, with the Good News and seeing it in everything. Today I came across a CNA article about filmmakers at John Paul II the Great University making a movie that will appeal to all audiences not just explicitly Catholic or Christian ones. in other words, they're making a secular film infused with the Truth. The movie is called "Bandit" and is about a little girl, a Charlie Chaplin wannabe who goes around with a bandit mask and fake mustache. Looks like it needs 5,000 more-- by tomorrow night--- to get off the ground. I'm not affiliated with this project in any way but I believe in what they're doing and I think most of you guys would too. So lets support this thing....
