I Know This Priest

I am proud to say that I know this Priest. He's absolutely amazing. He also came up with an amazing idea of temporarily freezing a fly and then tying a strand of long hair around it, and when it became unfrozen it flew around, but he had the end of the hair in his fingers, so it was like the fly was on a leash. When a Priest does something that cool, something like this photo cannot be unexpected:

I feel bad for the fly.

You're the type that uses a magnifying glass on ants, aren't you.

will admit the subway thing is cool.

I can't even stomp on ants without feeling bad, so no, I wouldn't use a magnifying glass on them.

The fly lived and was completely fine.

FP,

You are in Bishop Weisenburger's diocese?  I love Bishop Weisenburger.  He is an excellent confessor and an excellent homilist!  I knew him when he was here in OKC.  We miss him.

That fly thing sounds awesome. Now I want to give it a try. But I have to wonder, how do you freeze a fly and not kill it? Just make it cold but not really frozen by putting it in the freezer for a little bit?

I am not. I'm in the neighboring diocese.

My friend Kate tried it out. She did it for five minutes the first try, but that was too long and it died, so she tried thirty seconds after that, and that works perfectly.
