MorphRC
Pax Iesus. I really hope Im seeing things or misunderstanding this statement of Vatican II, but it seems to imply that salvation can be found in other Churches for people outside the Body of Christ: Can you please explain this statement. The Decree On Ecuminism 2. The Catholic Church believes that the separated Churches and communities "are efficient in some respects." But the Holy Ghost makes use of these Churches; they are means of salvation to their members. Pio Nono
JMJ 6/2 - Sts. Marcellinus and Peter MorphRC, Good question; however, your citation is merely a note of that webmaster meant to encourage study of Unitatis Redintegratio. It is not the document itself. The document is located here. No ecclesial communion or non-Christian faith can provide salvation for her members; Jesus Christ is the only means for salvation. Hope this helps. Yours, Pio Nono
