PhuturePriest
Of course there's no evidence of their current existence. Duh. Do you think they're stupid? I've never, nor would I ever, accuse those people of being stupid. Lack of evidence is, in fact, the only evidence we need. QED Furthermore, the Freemasons are a front group, as are the Lions Clubs, Odd Fellows, Mormons and such other of those ilk. They are practiced at the art of deceit, masquerading even as an angel of light while carrying out their wicked designs in secret. Much like the author of Harry Potter, which brings us full circle does it not? Indeed it does. Give an actual reason on why Harry Potter is bad. And don't say "magic". Magic doesn't exist. Objecting to the presence of magic in Harry Potter is like objecting to The Force in Star Wars. It's fantasy and there's no sin in using it, unless you'd like to accuse J.R.R. Tolkien of being a bad Catholic. Edited July 3, 2013 by FuturePriest387

Don't be so quick to say that...I have an Acquaintance who is, worships the old Druid gods and such and she spoken of her spell books and fellow pagans that are witches... Magic is out there it happens to merely be a guise of devil work not like you nicely compared to the force in StarWars that is a mystical power one special people can manipulate. Magic in fantasy is not the same as magic in reality. You can't pick up a little wand and make flames and spells shoot out of it because you said the right words. That type of magic is harmless. Which book are you on now FP? :) I havent been keeping up with asking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I read them all, I just forgot my thread existed so I forgot to update! I wouldn't place them on par with the Freemasons though, and certainly not for the majority of individuals. For that matter, if it's lack of evidence we need, and not actual evidence, why not freak out about the Knights of Columbus for their secrets? Or maybe you'd respect the opinion of dads.org, who sadly don't mention the Illuminati at all in this article, but point out other problems: http://www.ewtn.com/expert/answers/harry_potter.pdf Those fuddy duddys at dads.org! Always trying to ruin kid's fun.

A guy got shot not too long ago during a 3rd degree initiation. No kidding. And no one that goes there is allowed to tell anyone else about it, either. Sounds pretty sketchy to me... arfink
I assure you, madam, I am not trolling. I'm formulating a hypothesis in my spare time. Sometimes I post ideas. I've reached a few conclusions but nothing firm as of yet. The first rule of trolling: deny you are trolling. The magician never reveals his secrets, and the troll never, ever, ever shows his skin. For that matter, if it's lack of evidence we need, and not actual evidence, why not freak out about the Knights of Columbus for their secrets? The Knights have been a respected and recognized Catholic organization for over a century. And one does not take a blood oath of any kind not to reveal their "secrets." But you're playing devil's advocate... And the link between Mormonism and Freemasonry has been well established for sometime now. It is highly unlikely that the Mason and Mormon hoi polloi know of the links or what such links signify. Conspiracies, by their very nature, require an extremely small group of folks actually in the know. For instance, it is doubtful that the rich delta bravos that attend Bohemian Grove each year have a clue what goes on in the dark after the owl is extinguished. Most would probably be horrified. It's a front for something much more sinister. Like all of this nonsense, they are masters at deception and misdirection, like their daddy Satan. My advice is to stop watching television for a start, since that instrument is designed specifically to mesmerize people. Go to the YouTubes if you don't believe me, and revel in the irony. Era Might
Trolls are magical creatures, and hence, part of the illuminati. Oh, wait, I think I'm confusing trolls with leprechauns. Leprechauns are definitely illuminati. Edited July 3, 2013 by Era Might
Dr. Bombay
The first rule of trolling: deny you are trolling. The magician never reveals his secrets, and the troll never, ever, ever shows his skin. I am not a troll. Trolling on a Catholic phorum would entail challenging well known Catholic doctrines and dogmas or campaigning for the most anti-Catholic president in American history. None of which I have done. I've merely presented a hypothesis which does not contradict any de fide truths.
