But the Church teaches that homosexual acts are intrinsically evil so it would be a mortal sin to engage in homosexual activity. A Catholic who is bisexual would be one who has the normal heterosexual attraction but also has same-sex attraction to some degree. This latter form of attraction would be a cross and something that they would be called to resist. The Church's statements regarding homosexuality and the pastoral care of homosexual persons would apply to bisexuals in many ways. God bless you.
