East Coast: Is The Rain Ever Gonna End?

Here in Washington state it's been over a hundred degrees for the last three days. Today it hit 108!

 

I know right? It's been in the 90s down here in the southwest corner.  The humidity is what's killing me.  I was in Arizona a few weeks ago and the 100 degree weather didn't even faze me, because it was dry heat.

It's funny how relative weather descriptions are. I saw the Heat Advisory for areas in the Northwest was for temps of 90-95 with a dew point between 60-65. Such conditions would not be uncommon for September here in Mississippi!

Hey, you can send some of that rain to Colorado. We need it right now to prevent future fires and dampen or curb the ones we have now.

Yeah, i know what you mean. I used to live in the Tacoma area and it'd get really muggy and nasty outside when it was hot.

It largely depends on where you are in the NW. Obviously, on the coast it's generally a lot cooler than it is the further inland you get.
