Homosexual "marriage" -- Like Russian Doublespeak?

I can understand why the homosexuals want homosexual "marriage".  The word marriage is a good heterosexual word that if applied to homosexuals would give them a sort of legitimacy.  And it would help them qualify for married employee benefits.  But it really is Russian doublespeak.  You redefine a word -- that previously had a very good meaning -- and you use it to support your cause.

When I lived up in Washington state -- in the early eighties -- a priest called homosexuals "..just another type of family".  He was misusing the word "family".  Again it is a word which naturally applies to heterosexuals.  What's next are we going to decide that it's better to be called "heterosexual" rather than "homosexual" -- and change the definition of "heterosexual" to include homosexuals?  Then the word will loose its meaning.

Maybe we can come up with a new word for heterosexual marriages?  Maybe we could call them "HT-marriages"?  But then the homosexuals would want their "marriages" to be included...

And now can two "heterosexuals" -- who have no intention of committing sodomy -- get a "marriage"?  Polygamous "marriages" are still illegal.  Can you believe that there are people who actually support homosexual "marriage"?!  It is a crazy world... :(
