dUSt
The Phorum will have a lot of features and functions turned off while I perform some maintenance on it for a few days. Thanks for your patience!
CrossCuT
Are you going to make it stop dying every 10 mins? :bananarap:

dUSt
Well, if you really want to know, I am "unarchiving" all the archived topics. I didn't know it at the time, but apparently, when a forum has an archived topic in it, the forum cannot be moved, or changed, or deleted. So for example, if I wanted to get rid of the Lame Board, it would literally be impossible right now, because it contains at least one archived thread. There is no easy way to unarchive topics. For example, I cannot tell the phorum to "only unarchive topics in the Lame Board". I have to tell the phorum to unarchive everything. All 90,000+ threads. It is a ridiculous system, and I have decided to abandon the entire "archive" thing all together. But now, it will take days, maybe weeks, for the phorum to unarchive every single thread. Dumb! homeschoolmom
So will the formerly archived (but only readable) threads be gone?

Basilisa Marie
Please tell me that unarchive everything is automatic, and you don't have to do it one at a time.
Tony
So will the formerly archived (but only readable) threads be gone? that would stink :( I was waiting for the board to be public (but read only) again.
dUSt
No threads will be deleted. All the threads will return back to normal. Nothing will be archived. After this process finishes, I do hope to go in and delete a ton of threads though. I'm thinking the ones that meet these parameters: - Older than 1 year with less than 5 replies - Older than 5 years with less than 20 replies - Older than 30 days in Lame Board Thoughts? TheLordsSouljah
Sounds like a good system. Don't loose too much sleep over it though!
Oremoose
Not that I am a huge advisor but I Shall say I like it... Though for the lame board rule is that 30 days untouched of 30 period?

IcePrincessKRS
Yeah, the only one I think might prove problematic is the Lame Board threads. There are several ongoing threads that are older than 30 days, but still posted in on a regular basis.
PhuturePriest
You better not delete Feather and I's thread in the Lame Board. I still sometimes read that. <_<
