ToJesusMyHeart
Abortion is no big deal because it only gets rid of a few clumps of cells that are hardly human. They are just tissue and clumpy clumpness. No baby there. Nope. And SB5 is the horrible anti-abortion bill that Texas wants to pass but it definitely should not pass because 20 week fetuses are nothing special and they don't mind being ripped apart by the abortionist. Silly pro-lifers. Trying to make fetuses seem human. Psh! Give me a break!! What a clump of cells that can't feel any pain looks like:
Brother Vinny
SB5 should not pass because any bill that could conceivably end with the clause, ". . .you can kill the baby" is a wicked bill. "So long as you do it within the first 20 weeks, you can kill the baby," is a wicked bill.

Brother Vinny
It's a step in the right direction, homeboy. Are you with AHA?? I haven't officially joined. Not sure it would be a step in the right direction, either. It may have counter-intuitive consequences. If a woman feels she has time to make a decision, that's time she may be forming an emotional bond with her little fluid-breather. If she feels pressured by the impending deadline, the deadline might force the issue before that bond can be made.
ToJesusMyHeart
I disagree. We can't outlaw abortion straight away. America isn't ready for that. We need to do this steps at a time, and this is a fabulous first step. AHA isn't a good organization for Roman Catholics to link themselves to. I hope you smell the danger before you get too attached. Pax Christi, brother.

Brother Vinny
I just don't understand your rationale. No teaching I've ever come across has ever said to cut mortal sins down to 40% to start, then start tapering off. Why is America not ready to quit killing babies cold turkey? ToJesusMyHeart
If you were in the Texas Senate last Tuesday night, you'd understand why America won't allow the complete banning of abortion immediately. I agree with you that we cannot stop at a 20 week ban. But I think it's a step in the right direction. First we will ban at 20 weeks, then we will gradually move it lower and lower to a total ban altogether, but America needs to adjust first. I respect that you disagree. We're both fighting for the abolition of abortion, we just have different methods.

ToJesusMyHeart
Beautiful picture, ADD. Do you know where that photo comes from? Is it a model or a real baby? If it is real, is that a living baby, or was it a miscarriage? How did they get a 12 week baby from the womb so clean looking?

ToJesusMyHeart
What is AHA https://www.facebook.com/AbolishHumanAbortion?fref=ts Basically, it's a super Protestant (evangelical) organization that is dedicated to the abolition of abortion. The only problem is that they don't want pro-lifers getting in the way. They fiercely and adamantly refuse to be known as pro-lifers because they think the pro-life movement is a bunch of horse doodoo. They are elitists of their own breed. They have a good goal but terribly misguided methods. I know this because I was a member of their organization for a year, at which point the smell of their hatred for Catholicism ran me off. They're good people. Just a little....(searches for kind words)....forceful and unfriendly?
