I would like to politely point out that "necessary" was misspelled, accidentally I am sure. :)

It all depends on how you do it. I'm not gonna' name names, but sometimes people really misbehave in here, and they need to be called out. But sometimes people call people out in here, and it's just as bad.

Call 'em with love, I say.

FYI: Spelling mistakes are not bad behavior and do not need to be called out. :-P

I just did this on FB and the person didn't seem to like it. I was as careful as I could be.

This is more aimed towards cases on social media sites when people post rants about other people. I called a person out for it and then she blocked me after showing her dislike towards me. I was just wondering.

online like on facebook, i think it would depend on how close you are to the person (family, friend, acquaintance) and if you had posted the correction privately or publicly.

somewhere like here, i think again it would depend on how close you are to the person, and if you'd had "run-ins" with them in the past, and if you post the correction privately versus publicly.
