Norseman82
My spiritual director always has fancy Lincolns with video cameras that go out the back so you can look at the screen instead of having to look behind you. I'd never seen cars so fancy before in my life before I met him. They aren't brand new, they're usually from the '80s or '90s. But they are really fancy cars that you wouldn't expect a clergymen to use. Some of those features are becoming standard features in newer cars. Norseman82
I have honestly never seen a priest with a fancy car. Is that a thing in Italy, maybe? Or Brazil? It could be an "elderly" thing. I know that (at least at one time) priests in the Archdiocese of Chicago got $5 extra a month for each year (I think) of service, and one elderly priest at my high school drove a Buick Electra 225 (which was considered just a step below a Cadillac back in the late 1970s).
