For 'joe' - R I P Follow-up: Prayers For A Dying Man And H

This is a follow-up to the post 'For A Dying Man and His Family' that I posted on June 15.  

 

"Joe" passed away on Saturday, June 22.  He had a peaceful, holy death, and his family made enough peace with each other to have good memories of his passing. 

 

'Bakita' asked me to thank you all for your loving prayers and concern for all of them.

 

I would also ask prayers for him and the family on the day of his funeral (this Thursday).

 

'Joe' was a Korean War Veteran - Thank you, 'Joe,' for your service to your country and to us.

 

Thank you all very much for your loving concern for all who come to us for prayer.

CRAZY DOPE POST, YO!

 

Hi, Pham,

 

 

Please pray for the father of a friend of mine from my Secular Order community, who I will call Bakita. Her father, "Joe",is actively dying tonight. There is a lot of family drama, and the mother is too ill to be brought to be with Joe. Most of the family is bickering and fighting, and Bakita is asking for prayers for a holy death, and for the family to concentrate on helping him to go home to God and leave him (and each other) with memories they will want to cherish.

 

Bakita also would like to ask, if possible, that the Lord NOT take him on Father's Day -- that means within the next 1.75 hours OR over 26 hours from now. But... the Lord knows best.
