Winchester
Nationalism can go pleasure itself. This sort of human suffering is what comes of such identification. Honestly. All the flag-waving horsecrap pales when we think of the human suffering due to the idiotic identification that is ultimately a form of idolatry. I was guilty of it, and thanks to human weakness will no doubt fall victim to it, again. May God have mercy on us all. Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
Well maybe pride isn't the biggest failing of the general populace of Australia, but it sure seems to be a big chunk. The truth is i suffer from Pride, and hold my head a little to high at times, which keeps me from relating whole heartedly to those in most need. There is a great prayer that i think is wonderful for attacking our own personal pride,it is also the most humble prayer outside of the Lords prayer that i know of. The prayer of saint Francis. Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred let me so love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. And where there is sadness, joy. O divine master grant that i may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console. To be understood,as to understand. To be loved, as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, in pardoning that we are pardoned. And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
