Anastasia13
Why exactly do you feel the need to say anything against it? Kicks mostly. Also baseline for future dialogue?
Basilisa Marie
How about instead of criticizing the Novus Ordo, you criticize how it is sometimes celebrated, giving specifics? Or focus on how awesome other forms of liturgy are? Maybe a positive approach (I know, shocking :hehe2: )

Y'all know you are jealous.
Gabriela
https://www.youtube.com/user/romereports http://www.romereports.com/palio/index.php?newlang=english I've seen a few interesting things on their youtube channel and am suggesting it for some global Catholic news. Thank you, L&T. I truly appreciate this. It's sweet. :-) But I don't watch news for a reason. The tiny, this-you-really-must-hear amount that I get in here is quite sufficient for me. Honestly, sometimes I wish people wouldn't talk so much politics on PM...
vee
shouldnt it be the Jesus line??
CatherineM
Three hours is practically a tent revival. Most weeks we go to mass at a homeless shelter. No fancy vestments, no organ, no chant, no stained glass. What it does have is the liturgy of the word including an excellent homily. It also has a liturgy of the Eucharist. The hymns are sung without accompaniment by people in tattered clothes, some without teeth, some still reeking of booze. No doubt in my mind that Christ is there. dUSt
shouldnt it be the Jesus line?? We'd all be banned.
AnneLine
I'm so happy the Winchester line is explained so fully in the guidelines. Also the new wording is most excellent. I think it might save some confusion. :) shouldnt it be the Jesus line?? We'd all be banned. Actually, I would think that it is BECAUSE of Jesus that we are not all banned..... ;)

Dr. Bombay
So non-harmful criticism of the Novus Ordo is allowed?
Laudate_Dominum
Excellent. They probably should be treated that way. Whoever sends a C&D because of an improper citation on a web forum is probably a pathetic human being. :P Sounds good to me. Nice and sensible. I seem to recall that the C&D was from some obscure rando with a weird fundamentalist website. He was either trolling the Catholics or suffering from delusions of grandeur. Nihil Obstat
I seem to recall that the C&D was from some obscure rando with a weird fundamentalist website. He was either trolling the Catholics or suffering from delusions of grandeur. Hopefully. I do not remember if I asked her for any details, but someone would have to have a uniquely pointless existence to go around threatening webforums with under 100 active members, with copyright claims that are worthless and silly. :P

dUSt
So non-harmful criticism of the Novus Ordo is allowed? Yes, but I am the judge of what is and isn't harmful, and have an extremely low tolerance on this subject with a very itchy ban finger.
