PhuturePriest
The live feed mutes the sound system when a Point of Order is called. Currently, they are debating on whether or not the Democrats can appeal the ruling that the 3rd point of order was sustained. They need to vote on that and then they can vote on SB5. Dems are killing the clock by bickering. Pray, please pray. And grab a bottle of wine if you're of age. What happens if the point thingy is official? Does that mean the filibuster is over or something?
PhuturePriest
I started to get steamed when I saw some people on Facebook go on about how heroic Wendy is. She's impeding a vote because she didn't get her way, and it's a vote on whether or not we should regulate abortion clinics more. How heroic. Vincent Vega
He stated plainly that he is Roman Catholic I am Catholic (but not roman Catholic) and still respect life above all else. That said, you, Franciscan heart, are not nearly Catholic enough.
ToJesusMyHeart
If the democrats won't shut the bleep up then the special session will end and then Governor Perry will call a second special session and SB5 will be voted on in that session. so either way, we win. it's only a matter of time. and prayer. so, PRAY! Chestertonian
All of this is so unfathomable in the state I live in. I need to talk the wife into moving to TX.

PhuturePriest
Yes sir! You and the Mrs. are welcome here! I'd consider it, but the heat is pretty unbearable, plus I'm not keen on having thunderstorms and hurricanes all the time. Kansas will just have to do, plus Governor Brownback is pretty freakin' awesome.

PhuturePriest
Not likely. But not unheardof. Hopefully Wendy doesn't do it again. It's annoying, and it poses health risks for her bladder.
