Just bought my first suit from Rey Swimwear this summer :) I really like it.

Jo in Ebony with Ebony boyshorts. I must say, I am LOVING the boyshorts. I would definitely recommend them. :like:

I originally wanted something more colorful, youthful, and fun, and was going for Jo in Moonlit Sky, but they were all sold out in my size :( So I settled for Jo in Ebony. In my opinion, the 100% blackness of it makes me look kinda like an old lady, but I love the feel of the suit itself. And our friend Mirusmundi told me that it made me look like a 1940s model when I sent her a picture, so... perhaps that's just me being overly critical of myself :hehe:

My take: I'm glad someone is taking the time to seriously consider how to de-frump modest swimwear. It's a good balance. The price leaves much to be desired, but then I suppose the laborer deserves his wages, and these suits aren't being made in a sweatshop in Bangladesh either. (I would hope, anyway, given the price.)

yeah, my attention span isn't great, so i can't really sit down and keep my attention on videos (most of the time).

to be honest, i can find a good swimsuit like the Sabrina one at Target for $30. like i said, i'm thrifty, and i often don't see the need for a really expensive swimsuit, especially since i would use it maybe 3 months out of the year? now, if i used it like all the time, yeah, i'd pay more for a swimsuit that was more durable. but yeah.... lol. attention span just went again. :hehe:

:like: I wound up getting mine at Target, too. I looked into Rey Swimwear this spring when I was suit shopping but I wasn't really impressed. There was one suit I liked but it just didn't look supportive enough.

yeah, when you've got a *ahem* good-sized chest, you need some support. lol

I don't mean to hijack the thread but I want to ask a serious hypothetical question from a guy's perspective…

Suppose that a married or unmarried female friend posted a FB profile picture of themselves in a 2 piece bathing suit... what if it was a rather "pose-y" picture… and what if the poster acknowledged her "hotness" in the accompanying comment? Would it be okay to hit like?  Would it be a good idea to comment  and write something witty that acknowledges her beauty (agreement with her comment) while respectfully implying that she should exercise prudence with such postings?

This humanity thing can be a tricky business...

My opinion on the matter is if you aren't sure what to do then you shouldn't do or say anything. If they are someone you are very close to maybe send them a private message, but I don't think a public message that could be taken the wrong way (especially by people that don't know you) is the appropriate course of action.

But what if the course of action only involved "liking" or "liking" followed by a comment acknowledging that person's beauty? Would that be OK or not?
