Nihil Obstat
At least it is a Honda, so it will run nearly forever regardless of the dents. But yeah, that is brutal. :( Make sure to report it as a hit and run. That way, if the damage to the other guy's car was more major than it appears and he has to file a collision report, they might just be able to put two and two together. I will just add to this a bit. For a while my mom volunteered at a police office at the local mall, and mostly just did lots of collision reports. It is really common for someone to be involved in a hit and run, then try to pass it off as something else like "oh, I just hit the side of my house." So it gets filed that way at first, but they can usually tell that something is not quite right. So then, someone comes in filing a hit and run report. They look at damage, and sometimes they are able to connect that weird sounding single vehicle accident to this unsolved hit and run. Obviously it is a higher priority if the damage is more significant, which is unfortunate in this case, but there is still hope.
IcePrincessKRS
That's horrible, Icey.... And... it just goes to show you. People have it in for silver cars. I at least had the benefit of knowing the person who did it and got a call immediately. But it was ridiculous and negligent driving that caused the accident. The car was PARKED!!!! She drove past it down our cul de sac and then backed out and rammed my husband's car on her way back out (it got shoved back about 3 feet she hit it so hard). It was one of those "You have GOT to be kidding me" moments. She drives a Tahoe so she had barely any damage, a bit of a scrape and a broken tail light. We had thousands in damage. AnneLine
Brother. I hope you can find a way to make her pay for it. It doesn't seem fair.... As I said, people have it in for silver cars....
Anastasia13
You can get paint for the car make at Pepboys or something, or you might be able to get the paint adjusted if needed to match the aged color of the car from a body shop-not sure but I was previously going to ask about that for my car. Buff, sand, things like that, then use touch up paint.
