White Knight
Does anyone here watch or listen to Michael Voris and his programs? He seems to be very vocal about the problems within and outside of the Roman Catholic Church, he has been banned in some places I know that, however with every place that has a problem about him, his popluarity has been growing.. For those who do not know about him check out his website.http://www.churchmilitant.tvhttp://www.theonetruefaith.tv The latter link is his first webpage when he launched his television/internet network so check it out if you wish. Michael Voris's methods of his speeches or "teachings" can be somewhat brutal but at the sametime truthful, I was wanting to know if he has been "approved" of with the exception of the few places he's been banned.. Thank You all and God Bless You. Pax Christi, Vivat Jesus.

Basilisa Marie
I don't think anyone in the Church has "officially" ruled one way or the other on him. Like you said, some people really like his style, others really don't like it. That's probably why he's welcome to give talks in some places but no others. photosynthesis
I stopped listening to Voris and his "vortex" after I realized that every time I listened, I learned nothing and only gained a sense of despair at the condition of the church hierarchy, which I am already aware is DEEPLY flawed. While I agree with a lot of what he says, he is preaching to the choir, and I don't need to be convinced of anything. the 5 minutes it takes to watch "the vortex" would be better spent praying the divine mercy chaplet or a decade of the rosary. Apotheoun
I don't blame Voris for the problems that he brings to light. I blame the clerics and lay faithful who are the source of those problems. For example, bad liturgy is not Voris' fault; instead, it is the fault of the members of the hierarchy who promote it (or who do nothing to stop it) and of those who support them in their destructive behavior. GeorgiiMichael
Voris and his program are the only instance I know where the Canon that prevents organizations without episcopal permission from calling themselves Catholic was actually enforced. Just some insight.
To Jesus Through Mary
Voris and his program are the only instance I know where the Canon that prevents organizations without episcopal permission from calling themselves Catholic was actually enforced. Just some insight. There have been others. Namely the NCR was asked to stop using the name "Catholic" but have not obeyed. Voris is unique in the fact that he obeyed what his bishop asked. Voris is unique in the fact that he obeyed what his bishop asked. Actually, he did not. Michael Voris is not under the Bishop of Detroit, as ChurchMilitant.TV is based in Indiana, and it is therefore that Bishop's concern over what they call themselves. Their Bishop, Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades (One of the greatest Bishops in the country) said he had no problem with their use of "Catholic". They changed their name because of something the Pope said in a speech. Michael Voris himself said so. Edited June 14, 2013 by FuturePriest387
