PhuturePriest
I love E3! I remember the first one I ever watched was E3 08. It was an awesome thing to watch, and I'm happy that I'll be able to see it this year. What's the date that it begins? Also, Nintendo is totally where it's at. Playtation and XBox are okay, but Nintendo has so many more superior games it's not even funny to compare. Have fun with Halo and Metal Gear, I'll spend my time playing The Legend of Zelda and Mario. Tony
kidding aside. I haven't been into modern gaming for a while, but the PS4 seems to have a leg up on Xbox one by not charging a fee to use borrowed/used games. I haven't owned a system since PS2, and a lot of the games I have for it I bought used (and still do occasionally). I would never buy a system that wouldn't let me use them freely. Also the ridiculous always-online thing, and the required Kinect which literally is always on and is able to see into your room. You cannot play anything, including exclusively single player games, without an internet connection.

Nihil Obstat
That's creepy as hell. Yeah. It really is. One of the 'conspiracy theories' that is not so farfetched these days is that evolving copyright restrictions will actually restrict the number of people that are allowed to be in the room watching a game or movie being played. They have the resources now to do that if they wanted to. It is a question of whether or not they think it will work.
Tony
Yeah. It really is. They have the resources now to do that if they wanted to. It is a question of whether or not they think it will work. If that is true, I'm sure they will go hard after streaming sites like twitch. It's rediculous they can claim copy write on game play to begin with. And even if they could, I don't get why they would want to enforce it. It's not like a movie where it's the same thing no matter how many times you watch it. Video games are hands on. Watching games is what makes people say "oh let me try! This is cool! I think I'm gonna buy it!"
Nihil Obstat
For a long time the idea of restricting used games was a conspiracy theory too. The other rumour floating around is that game publishers might (or might not) start restricting "let's plays" on Youtube. So basically no game footage that isn't being put out by approved sources. Apparently some companies are doing this, but most aren't. For now.

Nintendo chooses not to take the game videos down, but instead insists that people who are caught cannot get advertising revenue, and must display Nintendo advertisements on their videos. arfink
I have always been and always will be a retro gaming and PC gaming nerd. Can't stand current consoles, and I especially can't stand modern analog thumb sticks. I hate them.

It isn't a rumour that it's started happening already. The rumour is that everyone will hop on board. Too soon to tell just yet. Edit: Or just how far they're going to push it. Tony
Why though? Why are they so against free advertising? I don't get it
