Aldillacid

no

ARdillacid  I am so sorry.  :(      I've been spending too much time on the Camino thread with all Spanish and Arab place names.... :(

I will fix it in my records.

I'm curious, does your screenname have a meaning you want to share?  It might help me get it right in my head.....

Amazon.  Pfffffttttt.  Is Amazon the alpha and omega of reading?  I think not.

Of course not.    But I am curious to know where to find all those pages.  I have my own 'to read' list and I like mysterious things.  I am CURIOUS.

So come on.... show us your books.....

Stella Matutina

I'm late to the game, and I'm reading a couple at once, so this likely won't end well for me. But I'll give it a shot anyway! Perhaps this will finally motivate me to buckle down on some books I've been meaning to finish.

The two I'm currently working on are:

Revelations of Divine Love, by Julian of Norwich

The Screwtape Letters, by C. S. Lewis

Going to go read right now! :knight:

You may remove the 250 books from my count, since the cheater has ceased cheating.  The playing field is level and I shall triumph.

Bring it.  :raccoon:

Alright, Byz here, with your quick update. Big THANKS! to AnneLine for all she's done and is doing voluntarily for this competition. So, in an effort to keep things accurate, I've taken the book numbers from her last-posted count and will be keeping a tally of my own henceforth. That way, we will have two counts in order to ensure accuracy. Mine will retain my old form, giving just name and number of books read, while AL's will be really cool and detailed (unless she changes her mind).

Since my last update, I've read Hebrews, James, and 1 Peter by St. Paul, St. James, and St. Peter respectively.

So, my count is:

Catholicterp, 38

Cartermia, 25

Chrysophylax, 23

Byz, 17

Arfink, 13

AnneLine, 8

Doc Bomb, 8

Ampax, 7

Ardil, 7

LT, 6

Ploomf, 6

BG45, 5

FP, 3

LWS, 3

Crusader, 2

Spem, 2

Trisha, 1

Let me do a side by side comparison.

What is different between the two? <_<

Ah, I see.  :)   I would like a Byztermination on this one.

Because this is what Amazon says:

Your search "250 Miscellaneous Mysterious Things" did not match any products.

I'm kinda confused... What am I ruling on here?

I have 8 unless you take out my Consumer Reports Use Car Guide. Those that I mentioned with page numbers were finished or a finished section of a 1000+ page poetry anthology which page. Page 68 serves as precedent for not requiring the completion of that 1000+ pages for it to count.

Joint Statements & Agreements between Catholic & Oriental Orthodox Churches

Folk Tale:  The Tale of the Pope and of his Workman, Balda

Folk Tale:  The Tale of the Golden Cockerel

Consumer Reports Used Car Guide

Play:  Mozart and Salieri

Quick Guide to Coding and Billing Compliance for Medical Practices

Hip-Hop: Nelly……………………………………………..……………..…..55 pages

20th C. Russian Poetry…………………………………………………..…..15 pages

Byz... not even you can double count by double posting web entries.

(And isn't Phatmass being a pain while it is undergoing renovations?!)

All the better to go READ....

I'm almost 3/4 way through The Killer Angels... long, but so worth it....

Will do page number update in next day or so.  Anyone want to add some numbers for older books?

Will add what has been posted since my last update when I do it....

Happy reading, everyone!!!!
