Nihil Obstat
Always looking for a loophole aren't you? <_< I watched an anime that was adapted from a set of ten novels, and I've watched it 4 times now, so I think we should count that as 40 books read. Nihil Obstat
Well actually, I suppose I have not watched it four times this summer. Just once. At the same time, I have watched several other shows adapted from novels in the same manner.
Dr. Bombay
Well actually, I suppose I have not watched it four times this summer. Just once. At the same time, I have watched several other shows adapted from novels in the same manner. I suspect you of making a mockery of this competition. This is simply beyond the pale, sir. Try reading a book. Just one. I'd suggest Green Eggs and Ham for starters. Colorful pictures and small words.
Nihil Obstat
I never read books with a picture to word ratio lower than 10:1.

(You can look it up on Amazon if you want.... page counts are listed there! If you can't find your exact edition, find one that is similar.... :) I'll probably update again in the evening of Saturday or on Sunday, so time to post any further progress on your reading! Anastasia13
We can count movies??? Cause I loved Dracula! Bram Stoker is a genius. I'll find another version to watch, and even give you comparative analysis of versions. One of these years I will finish the book, but in the mean time, 1992 and 1931 were the best versions so far. I'm happy to find another as long as it is not the Nosferartu. That may have been an inspiration for Dracula, but not my style. (Which is not to say that I have recently watched this movie, just liked it. L&T ….. 6 Joint Statements & Agreements between Catholic & Oriental Orthodox Churches Folk Tale: The Take [Tale?] of the Pope and of his Workman, Balda Folk Tale: The Tale of the Golden Cockerel Consumer Reports Used Car Guide Play: Mozart and Salieri Quick Guide to Coding and Billing Compliance for Medical Practices In Progress: Thing 1 Thing 2 Yes, it was likely supposed to be The Tale of the Pope and of his Workman, Balda. Things in progress includes: -APOSTOLIC LETTER ORIENTALE LUMEN OF THE SUPREME PONTIFF JOHN PAUL II TO THE BISHOPS, CLERGY AND FAITHFUL TO MARK THE CENTENARY OF ORIENTALIUM DIGNITAS OF POPE LEO XIII -Eastern Canon Law CCEO -Crescent by Diana Abu-Jaber Will probably not finish: Win government Contracts for Your Small Business (read part of mostly for purchasing compliance chapter), and a basic fill-in-the-blank for your organization policy guide for medical offices. Anastasia13
I still think we could let people count small prayer books. Why not? Byz? I've given up on the LOTH...counting it, but not praying it. ;) Here's what we'll do: We'll count prayer books (including LOTH), but only by page number (since you generally don't go straight through a prayer book). Is that a compromise we can live with? I actually do that with smaller prayer books-read straight through once. Not the big ones like liturgy books though. Just saw movies based on books do not count but audiobooks do count.
