Byz? what you think of the good Doctor's idea?

I'm counting the Summa as 'light summer reading in progress', but for Cowboys and Aliens, I'd think the Doctor gotta cough up the paper script or an on-line version (or at least give us some page numbers for goodness sake!) (or a novel version.... or an audiobook) or it won't work.... at least that would be MY call on this one.... call me grumpy.   :brutebeast:    But Byz is the Supreme Court around here....

AL's ruling is sustained by the Supreme Court of Byz.

Dr. Bombay

Ah.  I am interpreting this to mean that movies do in fact count, if we can dredge up a print version on Amazon.  Excellent.

Cartermia, prepare to fall to second place.  Nobody reads movies better than I do.

You gotta watch/read 'em, Dr. B.  And you have your 'light summa reading' on the plate as well.   So figure you can only get in a few a day (read-watching) even if you choose the movie route.....

But I gotta give you credit for determination.....

But SERIOUSLY, going after CarterMia????? She might try the same thing.  You are teaching her BAD THINGS, Dr. B!!!!!

Dr. Bombay

pick one.... (1) and you can count it unless byz disagrees.... (of course you can count the one with most pages, I'm just, really....)

And amazed at your inventiveness.

Amazon truly is a river....

Amazon truly is a river....

Indeed.  Like the one that flows through Cleveland, it is smelly and polluted and often catches fire and is so far removed from its original purpose that no one can even tell you what it was anymore.

I'm good with metaphors too.   Or was that an analogy?  <_<

Perhaps.  Although I suspect some of you people would like to strike me in the face with a closed fist, especially if we are discussing Harry Potter.

Speaking of which, I move we exclude the entire Potter series and all its incarnations from this contest.  Unless satanic Illuminati propaganda is appropriate reading for good Catholics?

I think we all know the answer to that one....

This I defer to Byz.   I tend to not like to ban books...  just funny that way.....

Some books should be banned.  And burned.

But I was kidding in this case.  This is a competition for adults so no point in forbidding Harry Potter.  QED

Nihil Obstat

If a movie has had several remakes over the years, can we count those as multipliers?

Always looking for a loophole aren't you? <_<
