Yes, I have!  The Redemptoristine Nuns in Austria used to wear a crown of flowers - a crown like that made of flowers!  But that was before Vatican II.

Never seen anything like that before......I read through but there was little detail about the actual crown or the history behind it, any info?

Are the Orthodox nuns? Because I was at an Orthodox church and the pastor gave us a tour of it. He showed us the crowns that the bride and groom wear on their wedding day. Perhaps...it is similar to that of the brides of Christ, they get to wear a crown to be married to the One, True King?
