MissyP89
Since when is Matt Maher a sellout? His new album is pretty legit.
Seven77
Not when it is something like shaving off a beard. Yes, rant and rave about how your government is ruining your life or how your boss won't give you a break at work. But the guy shaved his beard and made a personal decision about his faith and you're getting your knickers in a twist. Brreeeeaaaatttthhhhheeeeeeee ssssssssaaalllllllllooooooooooowwwwww
Amppax
am I high or has there been hostility/tension over really trifling things cropping up on phatmass? It's not the outright brutality of the political season but my sixth sense is picking up on a subtle agitation. Just checking to see if my pistovometer needs to be calibrated or sumn. That would be my assessment.
BigJon16
Matisyahu, New Sound, New Look http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNq-fNImeVg Matisyahu on New Album and Cutting His Beard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORxlgNpuaDM Interesting line at the end of that: "It was becoming the beard idol." Love his music, even the newer pop-ier stuff.
jmjtina
I get what he did and why he did it. I probably would have done the same thing. His music is still awesome. His faith before and now is geniune. He still has that. I don't see it as a sell out. I see him searching for Truth. I find that pretty courageous in my book. I'd probably read more on it. Hopefully that will help. :bible:
