voiciblanche
Oooh. I think I knew that because you'd said it before, but oh well. So, someone whom is young enough to be your kid is old enough to babysit your real kids.
homeschoolmom
Yeah, freaky eh?? How much do you make sitting?
voiciblanche
I don't make it anything because I don't babysit. Everyone around here hires college girls to 'sit after their kids. I have no way to make money whatsoever. But money's not important, lol.
homeschoolmom
Hehe... we have a college student who lives with us and she does a lot of sitting. People like her because she can drive and take the kids places. She make $10 an hour... she can also do overnights, which makes her a hot commodity... (she makes $100) for an overnight. She babysits for us from time to time... but usually she's too busy. She sits for free for us, so we don't ask her to too often...
voiciblanche
My mum works nights as a nurse, and she works three or four nights regular per week, and those are the nights we're at my dad's. But if she's working extra, then we're at her house, and so she hires a woman to stay with us overnight - twelve is a bit young to stay home at night by herself. She makes about $75 a night. homeschoolmom
- twelve is a bit young to stay home at night by herself
I agree... I don't even like staying by MYSELF overnight... I think we hijacked Al's thread...
