Little Flower
I'm making a video for a young cousin who will be graduating from HS. The video is a photo slideshow that progresses from infancy to senior year. I'm looking for music to use for it...my cousin likes top 40's stuff: Imagine Dragons, Onerepublic, Coldplay, Wiz Khalifa, AWOLNATION, Macklemore...any suggestions on specific songs (and where to d/l them cheaply)? So have you decided on a song to use?
Seven77
The video was a success! Here is the final playlist I went with: Home by Phil Phillips infant/toddler pictures Every Teardrop is a Waterfall by Coldplay toddler pictures Coldplay Paradise hard instrumental cover by The Acoustics kid/adolescent It's Time by Imagine Dragons adolescent/preteen/teen Beethoven 5 Secrets (instrumental mix incorporating Secrets by One Republic) by The Piano Guys teen Secrets by One Republic teen Hall of Fame by The Script featuring Will. I. am. teen/high school/senior year Can't Hold Us by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis prom/graduation Tonight by hot chelle rae (however you spell it) graduation The transitions worked beautifully on iMovie. Everything seemed to sync up well. My favorite moments were when Phil Phillips says “don't pay no mind to the demons they fill you with fear,†and he has a scared look on his face, and when he says “the trouble it might drag you down," at the moment in which a video clip depicts my cousin following on the carpet with his little scooter. And then when the song Hall of Fame goes “you can go the distance,†I transitioned to a picture of him running a track and field relay race and dropped the music replacing it for a minute with the chariot of fire theme by Vangelis. Can't hold us down was a perfect song that matched his prom and graduation pictures almost word for word. All in all it turned out to be a memorable slideshow that my cousin enjoyed. Thanks everybody for your input! Props to you Littleflower for your suggestion! Edited June 20, 2013 by Seven77
