PhuturePriest
Embrace the shag. :like: I wanted the shaggy hair, trust me. But my mom wants it short, so it got cut. It was a sad day...
Eowyn
Kombucha is God's gift to the World (obviously not as great a gift as salvation, but you get my point). Jesus loves it and so do i. Very, very true. And I'm not even old enough to be a real hippie.
photosynthesis
I am all for hospitality, but you shouldn't drastically alter the way you live your life for your houseguests.
franciscanheart
:| Pretty sure this was a silly thread. Even still, I can assure you no drastic changes will be necessary for my visit. Even if I was a real hippie, MissScripture is pretty crunchy herself. ;)THREE MORE SLEEPS :o (Is this real?) :yahoo:

franciscanheart
I do seem to recall her talking about cooking from scratch because store-bought food is unhealthy...Pretty sure she buys food from the store. But yeah, sounds like she does make a lot from scratch. (Though, if I recall (at all, much less correctly), some of that is because of food sensitivities / allergies.)
MissScripture
I buy food from the store, just not very much processed food. Some of that was because I like to know what is in my food. But when the allergy/intolerance issue came up, it just became way easier, and less frustrating to make the majority of it from scratch.

AnneLine
I still recommend patchouli oiling your hippie guest .... that way you could find her if she gets lost. Trust me, you'd find her...

Where I'm from, 99% of the food is processed and terrible for you. But I don't expect it's much different anywhere else. :P

Spem in alium
I hope I'm not becoming a hippie. I'm starting to really get into organic stuff, and I'm starting to wear flip flops for the first time in my life. I also hear before I got my hair cut on Wednesday that it was really long and shaggy like a hippie... rotfl Sounds you're morphing into a typical surfer dude of the kind found in Australian waters.
