In Theology of the Church we were offered extra credit if we did a review of it (the prof hadn't read it and wanted opinions). I got partway through the book before I got distracted by other things. It wasn't bad, though,

Yes. How'd you know?

Wait, you weren't in that class, were you?

No, I had Sirilla.  I just figured that since it couldn't have been Sirilla or Hildebrand (the only other teachers that I know taught the class) it had to be Turko.  It also sounds like something he would do.

Has anyone read this book, and if so what are your thoughts? I've met Mr. Weigel briefly, and really wasn't impressed. However, I've heard interesting and good things about this book from some people, so I'm looking for more imput.  Thoughts?

I've read only one of his books, Letters to a Young Catholic and it was pretty awesome. Full of awesomeness stuff that I am constantly referring back to. Other than that, I haven't read anything else. If been thinking about picking up a copy of Evangelical Catholicism

Oooh oooh I <3 Evangelical Catholicism.  And not just because I love shoving this essay in peoples faces. :|  It's written by one of my favorite professors like ten years ago before Evangelical Catholicism was cool.

think I might have read that book a while ago, but I can't recall. Everything I've read that George Weigel has written has been very good though.

I think if you had, you'd probably remember; it just came out this year.

I had him. Easy, and a pretty decent class. Hahn or Bergsma would be much better though.
