homeschoolmom
I got one as a Christmas gift in 6 or 7th grade... and the book of how to solve it. The book was more complicated than the cube... I never did solve more than two sides... what a big waste of time...
voiciblanche
Lol. It's like one of the arcade games - all you do sit around and fry your brain with it while gaining weight.
homeschoolmom
I stay out of the arcade... If I start playing, I will never leave PM... I'd just play games while waiting for some interesting posts... my poor children would starve... Are you out of school now?
theculturewarrior
I'm very interested to hear how a gang fight is funny.
It was 1994 and I was traveling to visit a friend in...you guessed it...Michigan. Anyway, I made the mistake of leaving the bus station at about 12 midnight in St. Louis. To make a long story short (this was one of those neighborhoods that you just DON'T want to be in) I was approached by a gangster, who asked me why I was wearing blue shoes. Well, they were green, and I told him, and he was visibly cheered. Anyway, here's the part that still strikes me as funny, or at least ironic. I was wearing a blue plaid shirt. The gangster was color blind. (A COLOR BLIND GANGSTER!??)
BeenaBobba
I was watching I Love The '80's Strikes Back and a commercial came on for the new I Love The '90's. So, since we've already talked about our favorite '80's stuff, let's talk about our favorite '90's stuff.
I know! I saw that commercial last night, and I couldn't believe it! I can't wait! God bless, Jen
BeenaBobba
Remember the Oklahoma City bombing? or the OJ Simpson case?
Yes and yes! I especially remember the OJ Simpson case because my mom was nearly obsessed with it, and the trial on CNN was on our TV for hours each day. (And, yeah, my mom and I thought -- and still think -- that he's guilty.) God bless, Jen
