Ah.... I'm old and I get confused...

I'd reckon so, because I mention her quite a bit. :P

Totally agree, Miles. And of course you're not gay!

Hey, bro. I love you.

I am just going to keep my mouth shut now.

I, too, fought the urge to comment on her statement, but I chose not to due to the seriousness of the thread. I'll talk to her when I meet her in secret tonight instead.

Liking One Direction just means you have horrible taste in music.

I didn't think you were gay when you mentioned One Direction. I seriously thought another Teeny Bopper.

I picked on her all day yesterday, so that's why I'm keeping my mouth shut. :|

I've decided to not like 99% of their songs because they are stupid and meaningless.

On a serious note, I never really understood how some hobbies/likings could be indicators of gayness. A lot of people, including gay men, tend to think I'm gay (maybe it's just wishful thinking). It's usually not that big of a deal to me. Whether someone thinks I'm gay doesn't matter to me unless the person has a prejudice against gays.  The only time I was offended by people thinking/claiming I was homo was when my classmates ostracized me for it. There was a marked difference between my friends laughing with me and my classmates laughing at me.

...Oh and my gaydar smells of elderberries, so I've totally agreed to go on "dates" that I thought were just friendly meetings.

Seriously tho' until recently with the whole debate getting political and extreme (witness the suicide in Notre Dame Cathedral http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-22614994) I have always preferred socialising with gay people, lots of fun...great cooking etc...(they always know I'm a priest.) Today it leads to rather earnest discussion, but I am always learning.
