CrossCuT
Oh hehe you dont have to send me anything! Recipes are good though! Since I live on my own its always hard to not get bored of making the same thing over and over again. Im always looking for new recipes to try! Specifically things that I can cook one night, then separate out into lunches for the rest of the week at work.

CrossCuT
All of them. I have made a few casseroles but Im trying to do more crock put stuff. I probably need a new crock pot though...my mom got me the current one I have from a garage sale...its kinda small and Im not sure it cooks very well... The old ones cook at lower temps than the new ones, it's actually very normal.
BG45
CC, sorry you and the boyfriend are getting hammered for that sort of thing. :( I recently instituted FB Lists on my wall for my posts for exactly that reason! Like T., I was sick of being told how horrible a Catholic I was and that I was going to the netherworld for not believing that poor people deserved nothing. They're only poor because they want to be, and all that stuff. Understand where you two are coming from with all of that. AL, bring out the tunneling llamas! And you all can extend from CA to MN to...well, might not be in PA by the time that tunnel gets here. Hehe. Edit: my awful postal carrier that doesn't know how to properly do his job struck again today. The storm doors were taken off my complex so they can repaint the frames, weather permitting. He left a cardboard box in the pouring rain sometime this morning around 11am when he usually comes, and the box was all but collapsed on what my parents sent me as of 7pm EST when I found it after returning from the office. Yeah...since when is wanting to help the poor mean Im treading down a bad path? Im more worried about the person who allows politics to get in the way of helping people. BG45
I agree. :( On both counts there. I've got a lot of FB friends like that...then again, also have ones who I thought were going to attack me for pointing out Satanists, at least of the LaVeyan strain, don't worship Satan as a deity. :P 12 hours of sleep and feeling...sorta better? Good enough to stay upright and work.

BG45
So...16 people in my row today at Mass. Only me left after Communion, but before the Final Blessing. I realize I'm not the best Catholic, but still, heh. Edit: M. hasn't texted, skyped, or called in about 8 days now. No visit today as was planned pre-move back to Ohio. :(

xTrishaxLynnx
So...16 people in my row today at Mass. Only me left after Communion, but before the Final Blessing. I realize I'm not the best Catholic, but still, heh. This and when the homily is about preserving marriage as one man and one woman, or any other political issue, where people get up and walk out saddens me. :( Our congregation is generally cut by at least 1/3 after Communion, often more. Edit: M. hasn't texted, skyped, or called in about 8 days now. No visit today as was planned pre-move back to Ohio. :( Sorry. :( Hopefully there's a good explanation and M. will get in touch once settled. Moving can be hectic, maybe that's a factor? Sorry. :( Hopefully there's a good explanation and M. will get in touch once settled. Moving can be hectic, maybe that's a factor? Yeah...on Protect Life Sunday, several people left during the homily about being pro-life, and even more left when the Knights of Columbus spoke at the end of Mass about raising money for an ultrasound machine for a crisis clinic. :( Ditto on the 1/3 or more after Communion. Father did try, once, the "Judas left Mass early too" line, but it didn't seem to change minds. He's also run things in the bulletin about not leaving early, and appealed to logic too, "Do you realize if as many people leave Mass early as do, there's going to be traffic congestion getting out of the parking lot whether you leave before the final blessing or stay for it?" Thanks, I hope there is, but from FB it looks like Friday she went shopping with her friends. And if she can update FB, you'd think she'd shoot me an e-mail about not making it for the visit, or even to say "hey". I'm hoping it's the hectic-ness of moving, but if I don't get anything by next Friday, I'm assuming I'm once again back to square one of "nope, not even a chance there of something developing".
