At Mass, i think some pholks were missing all of Father's homily...it was about hospitality and charity to others...over half the congregation at some point seemed to be turning their heads to glare at a (softly) crying infant.

That's unfortunate.  My experience has been different with similar homilies.  They turn, for a couple weeks, from said glaring to cooing over and praising any bad behaviour thinkable - that probably wasn't father's intention either.

Probably not, but it's a nice reaction anyhow! :)

Not entirely happy with my survey instrument and some of my IVs/DVs, but just sent chapters 1-3 to my chair for review. Hopefully her constructive criticism will hit on what I just seem to be missing to make this quality work. Either way, time to prep classes now that the 77 pages of material is sent out for review and revision.

Visited a Peruvian store today.  They had alpaca fur (from alpacas raised in Peru) and made little stuffed alpacas to sell.  They were so fluffy and amazing.  My friend took pictures and they will be forthcoming. I just thought you would enjoy it because they are so similar to llamas.

Truthfinder, it depends.  Usually 140-200 is an average range...one in the department was over 1,000 pages, but it was a multi-year longitudinal qualitative study of a group.

Brian, that is awesome!!!  Did you buy yourself a stuffed alpaca in addition to the pics? :)

Arfink, I am so jealous!!

I'm jealous too!!!!   ARFink, can you draw us what it feels like to pet an alpaca?  I'd be curious how you might convey that....

Sounds like an interesting project for Arfink to try to draw!

I was on Cracked when they mentioned something and then I ran the numbers myself to double check:  In Dredd 3D the dystopian Mega-City One has a population of 800 million and "17 thousand crimes reported daily".  By contrast, the United States of American in 2011 has a population of 300 million and on average approximately 28 thousand crimes reported daily.  This means that the reported crime rate per thousand people per year in the USA is 4 times greater than Mega-City One.

Hmmm, I wonder if they told him the sedia gestoria cost less than any car, used no fuel, and would allow unfettered access to the people he'd go for?
