Co-worker's Road Rage

So I was in a car with 3 colleagues going to a meeting when we are almost cut off while exiting the freeway.  The driver of our car (a nice woman usually) totally loses it and starts cursing.  She also starts driving erratically and dangerously.  I felt like I had a weapon pointed at me. Thank goodness the hotel wasn't too far away and we made it to the parking lot.

I didn't want to ride back with her so I called a friend and made arrangements to be picked up and then casually told her I had plans and was meeting someone after the conference.

The other two folks seem to have shrugged it off but I'm wondering if I have an obligation to do/say something.  She is very senior at work and I am amazed at her reaction.  (Honest she was driving violently.)

Should I say something to her?  I'm leaving the organization in July so I'm not too worried about repercussions but I don't know what's right to do.

What do you think?

Err, it depends on what type of person she is, in my opinion. If you REALLY have to tell her, try sandwiching whatever negative comment you have with two positives.
I really enjoyed my time with you, you're so kind. I was caught off guard by your driving the other day, I didn't feel it was anything like you. Regardless, you're still my favorite person at this company and you cook amazing pancakes!
She might take what you say to heart or she might not. There's also the possibility that she'll get offended by someone younger correcting her. You may want to consider whether you really don't need her help at all in the future.  A new potential employer could ask for a reference.

I think the moment to say something would have been as it happened. Something like, "Whoa, I've never seen you like this. You're kinda freaking me out!"

At this point, I'd just let it go and pray about it.

Thanks guys.  I've decided to let it go and just not ride with her agin.  Who knows?  She might just have been having a bad day.  Makes me want to work  more on my own stuff.
