dUSt
Which item yields the most profit? What do you mean. Per item? Shirts generally cost us about $4 to make, plus all the sweatshop labor I put into it. Sell them for $14. Break even on the shipping, except for International shipping where we usually lose some money. CDs cost about $2 each. Sell them for $9. MP3 sales (iTunes, Amazon) have no inventory obviously, but cost about $35 per album per year to keep them active. The glasses and mugs and dog tags and stuff like that were donated to us for free, so we only had to pay for the boxes and stuff to ship them. If you are asking where the majority of phatmass funding comes from, I'd love to say donations, but that is simply not true. T-shirt sales are what keep us afloat. In fact, I'm rather proud of the fact that I rarely have to beg for money to pay the bills--all the while, keeping phatmass ad and spam free. :)
AnneLine
You, Sir, are the Phounder of the Mendicant Order of Phatmassers, aka MOP. I think you need to create a MOP t-shirt!!!!!!!

So, if I want to bankrupt Phatmass, all i have to do is get a bunch of English people to buy a "The Haters Gonna Hate" t-shirt? Where's EmilyAnn? Where's EmilyAnn? You misunderstood my lack of clarity. We usually lose money on international shipping because I decided to do a flat $7 rate for international. The price they pay for the goods subsidizes that. So, for example, someone in Australia orders a $14 shirt, pays $7 for shipping. If the shipping cost me $10, then it's like they only paid $11 for the shirt. Still a profit, just not as much. I don't think it's fair that anyone pay more than $7 shipping just because they don't live in the U.S. Phatmass is for the people.
dUSt
By the way, four more orders since I started this thread. It's like we're Abercrombie & Fitch or something, except instead of targeting only cool, good looking customers, we are targeting cool, good looking customers who are Catholic. And I think I may have found out the source... someone said an image of the shirt is being spread around Pinterest? Glad I was forward thinking enough to watermark the images with phatmass.com. I am a smart webmaster.
HisChildForever
I have a "faith" section on my Pinterest board, I'd be happy to post some of the t-shirts on there.
PhuturePriest
Take as long as you'd like on the trip to Rome, Dust. I've got all the time in the world, so do let the more... *cough* elderly people of Phatmass die off first, like Winchester and MIkolbe, that way there will only be a few top Phatmassers and I can just bring Kate with me instead. They're still taking up space on my shelves, I just don't have them in the store right now. I'm dumb.
