Seven77
I saw IM3 last week and i gotta say that I was kind of let down. Its a good movie by itself... i guess. But ultimately, IM3 failed to be a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. Tony Stark is still a jerk.
Basilisa Marie
He's not as BIG of a jerk, though. I thought it was fantastic. :) I liked how they showed him with PTSD after the events in the Avengers movie, and dealing with it in a somewhat realistic way. Seven77
Mild Spoilers: They got the Extremis storyline wrong, not to mention the villain. The scene after the credits was dumb. I did like the falling out of the plane scene. The movie could have been better but I suppose it worked (on a certain level). Lilllabettt
better than the 2nd one, not as good as the first. best scenes were the ones with the little boy. that whole arc was remarkable.
GeorgiiMichael
THE MOVIES ARE A SEPARATE CANON FROM THE COMICS AND THEREFORE DON'T HAVE TO FOLLOW THE COMICS, DO NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT NOT FOLLOWING X STORY CORRECTLY BECAUSE THAT IS AN INVALID COMPLAINT. Caps because people need to see it, not because I'm angry. Although I am, a little. I felt like it was the best of the trilogy. Incredible character development, great story telling, good comic relief. The teaser at the end didn't necessarily hint at a new movie, but I liked it anyway. And it could also point to a Science Bros movie, which would be stellar.
EmilyAnn
I thought the character development was excellent - usually by a third film character development seems to be non-existent. Of course he's still a jerk, he wouldn't be Tony Stark is he wasn't but the movie really took his character beyond just being a jerk and showed a lot more depth to him. I liked the continuity from the Avengers movie and how it showed his struggling to cope. The comic moments were also very well done.
Oremoose
The Only disappointment I had with the movie was the Score...I mean Come on It's iron man! No AC/DC or Black Sabbath? I can understand that it was a choice to show he was not fully himself with his PTDS. But at the end when he was better, humbler then before, he says he is iron man! That is when the Rock music play! Other then that I think Tony Stark's Character Arch came to a nice landing.

I am so glad I am not the only one that Loves marvel for their MutiVerse ( Multi-Universe) tool so that they can make more stories and tweaks to old ones and not ruin anything. I personally find it brilliant.

BG45
I liked the first more, but this was definitely far better than the second. So to get spoilerific:
I liked: *The little kid story arc *The PTSD, it was really well done. *The VP had a good reason for betraying his nation, his family. *I loved how he fished his first robot out of the sea at the end. Didn't like: *Making the Mandarin fake (probably to not offend China, a huge movie market) *Blowing up all the suits, given we still have Avengers 2.

Like he said at the end, he's still Iron Man, and so he'll still suit up. But those particular suits represent the dark places he was during his PTSD, and like the name of the protocol indicates, he needed a clean slate. xTrishaxLynnx
I didn't see the scene after the credits, but are we sure that there won't be another Iron Man movie? It seemed like it was left open by a few things I noticed toward the end.
