So I was moving clothes from the warsher into the dryer and found my cell phone.  The battery is water damaged, and the phone is likely too water damaged as well.

So I've have this phone for at least three years and it has serve me well.  Since I'm graduating, I was going to splurge and get myself a nice phone right after graduation anyway....but I am torn between two models.  Input please.

I don't believe in helping Apple achieve world domination....so you can still vote for "other" and post about your iPhone and how "In Apple We Trust"  but I'm basically completely sold on Android (In Google We Trust).

Samsung sounds good - I'm actually thinking of upgrading to that one myself (I currently have a Garmin-Asus nuvifone and while it works well it is getting on).

I am liking samsung these days. Be warned: you will not get nearly the same battery life with one of these new smartphones. Like not even close. That is just how it is right now.

Iphone. Hands down the best phone. It might not have as good of specs as the competitors, but it just feels better.

If you have a carrier that will support the Google Nexus 4 I'd go with that. Unadulterated Android OS, without the bloatware Samsung, Motorola, etc. make un-uninstallable.

Also, I got a cheappo tracfone (prepaid) and linked it up to google voice (free).  I can answer calls and texts from just about any computer.  My phone acts like a glorified pager, but if I think it's legitimately important then I can answer it immediately.

I have an iPod, and I know that if I were ever to get myself a phone, it would be an iPhone. You get an awesome phone with awesome accessories, games, and bonus: all your music. I'm pretty sure you could use the headphones while on the phone with someone to make sure no one could hear them, too.

You can do this with literally every phone on the market. :| They even make headphones with little microphones in them so you can walk around talking to yourself like a crazy person.

Games like Pocket God are not on anything else but the iPod, thus making the iPod inherently superior.

Apple is literally Hitler.

Also it turns out that when you run a Google image search of "literally Hitler", this is one of the results. I did not plan this whatsoever.

Steve Jobs was a good man, and he was pro-life. I'm also told I look like him when he was younger.
