Nihil Obstat
I spent essentially all of junior high and high school wondering if I was too sarcastic, or just not very funny. I am still not quite sure a lot of the time.

Nihil Obstat
On the other hand, sometimes I think it is probably arrogance to assume that my sense of humour is simply too advanced for people to understand. Certainly that could be the case, but what right have I to assume that it is the case?
CatholicsAreKewl
On the other hand, sometimes I think it is probably arrogance to assume that my sense of humour is simply too advanced for people to understand. Certainly that could be the case, but what right have I to assume that it is the case? I've thought about this too. I've come to the conclusion that either: 1. People are really gullible. 2. People think I'm really stupid. 3. I'm not good at reading my "audience" (who are merely confused classmates at this point).
Nihil Obstat
In high school I somehow convinced all my friends* that I was a hyper-arrogant d-bag. In fact the exact opposite was true, which is why I found it so funny. Somewhere, somehow, something went terribly wrong. I think all my friends* were idiots. :| *Except for the one who, incidentally, is the only one who remains my friend today. And I don't say that the exact opposite was true to imply that I was most definitely not arrogant and a d-bag, like I was actually really super cool. I mean opposite in the sense that I had some moderately significant self-esteem issues that I had not worked out at that point in my life.
