dUSt
http://joshgarrels.bandcamp.com/album/love-war-the-sea-in-between Found this album by randomly looking around Bandcamp. I don't know this guy's beliefs but the songs definitely have Christian themes... and it's just really good music. Listen to the whole album from the link above. Seven77
I've been listening to him for a while...Is he Catholic? I know he is a devout Christian though. Whatever he is, he's a great musician.

arfink
He is Catholic. I am quite sure of it. He doesn't brand all his websites and such with it, but he definitely is. Listen to some of his album Love and War and the Sea In Between, and you'll find Eucharistic references running wild.
Seven77
I think that if the dude's not Catholic yet, he's well on his way. The only reason why I suspect that he is not Catholic at the moment is because the name of his church and pastor, which he mentions online somewhere, are not Catholic sounding. TheresaThoma
I love Josh Garrels, his music has such a wide variety yet it does form a cohesive whole. For a silent retreat which was a version of the Spiritual Exercises the retreat director would end the group conferences with one of Josh Garrels' songs. It was a wonderful way to transition from the conferences back into silence and the meditations.
