Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
Pax domini bretheren... So i was thinking about how the scripture seems to contradict itself, one account of the gospel says Jesus carried the cross for himself and another gospel says that simon was employed to carry the cross. I was thinking that perhaps one disciple only saw the initial part when Jesus started to carry his cross and wasn't present when simon was employed to help carry the cross. Is this the way we should read into this seeming contradiction? And also another quick one. When the gospels say Jesus' sweat became as drops of blood, where told he went and prayed by himself therefore no one could see his sweat turning into blood, is this a time where there just saying the sound of him praying and the earnesty of his prayer was like his sweat turning into blood, kind of like when we say to give a task "your blood, sweat and tears," it doesn't necessarily mean that we will bleed or weep, it is a euphanism (unsure that is the correct word for this, perhaps hypothetical is a better word.) Or did someone see the place where he was praying after the event? Onward christian souls. JESUS iz LORD.
CatherineM
The Bible is not a science book or a history book. It is a Theology book.
