If you're stuck with the kids all day, then what about kitchen time making fun chocolately treats with your kids like   http://centercutcook.com/chocolate-lasagna/   or   http://www.get-your-kids-cooking.com/chocolate-eclair-recipe.html

They get to play with you in the kitchen and enjoy time with you as well as the sugary treat at the end, and you get the amazingness of chocolate which will help towards making you feel better.  Win-win!

Also, you and your family are in my prayers. Love ya, Red.

Prayers for you, Red.

(Imagine JPII's voice)

"You are not alone! You are never alone! Christ is with you!"

He may or may not have said that, but sometimes I find imagining encouraging things in his voice really help me. ;)

Been praying for you over the last few days, and that was before I knew it was crunch time. Will redouble my efforts now. It's the least I can do for all the support you've given me. Take courage. <3

I've an easy recipe but it requires several ingredients. You'll need:

  • Your favorite glass, preferably intended for wine)
  • Your favorite Brandy
  • Your favorite Gin
  • Your favorite Rum
  • Your favorite Tequila
  • Your favorite Vodka
  • Your favorite Whiskey
  • Your favorite Malbec
  • Your favorite Shiraz
  • Your favorite Pinot Noir
  • Your favorite Port
  • Your favorite Rose
  • Your favorite Muscat
  • Your favorite Sherry
  • Your favorite Pinot Grigio
  • Your favorite Chardonnay
  • Your favorite headache reliever
  • Your favorite glass for water
Step 1.
Line bottles up by height.

Step 2.
Starting with the shortest bottle, open and drink.

Step 3.
Repeat until you either

a. finish all bottles
b. pass out (in which case, start at step 1 upon waking)
c. develop a headache*

*In the case that this happens, follow these directions:

Step 1.
Take 4 of your favorite headache reliever. Use water only if someone else is around who might say something about your drinking.

Step 2.
Return to step 1 in the first set of instructions.

You can drink -- just strap the kids in extra tight if you have to drive.

I AM KIDDING. DO NOT DO THIS.
