PhuturePriest
That sounds like a lot of work for a two cent goldfish. I can see jumping through hoops for a thousand dollar Labrador, but not really for a fish that has the life expectancy of a fruit fly.
PhuturePriest
(For those uneducated among us, the fruit fly has a life expectancy of one day)

Actually, goldfish live up to 15 years, and some of the more rare ones are incredibly valuable.
PhuturePriest
Goldfish can actually live for a very long time, but yeah. Not the goldfish that lived in my home. My dog loved to go by the pond, put her head so close to the water that her nose was touching it, and when one swam by, she would dunk her head in, catch it, throw it on the ground for the cat to eat, and then she waited for her next victim. let_go_let_God
I have a beta and a tetra. I would do a lot to help them. However he's a responsible pet owner and I think it's a good lesson in the sanctity of all life. God bless- LGLG
