Spem in alium
And WOW, guys. It was honestly one of the most wonderful days of my life. The community was so welcoming and so hospitable. The community I visited is about half an hour's drive away from my home and has eight sisters, most of them Polish :) We had food, talks, food, individual prayer and reflection, food, Adoration, vespers, Mass and more food. Their charism and ministry connects with my heart - they help all people, from expectant mothers to the elderly. I felt so close to God, so open and so receptive. I keep thinking back to when I first began my discernment - how upset I was to be thinking of religious life! Now, it brings me a simple peace, and if that isn't coming from God then I'm not really sure where it's from. Hopefully I will get to be with them again soon. In the meantime I hope to continue discerning well. Many thanks to all who have been praying for me. Blessings always.

ToJesusMyHeart
How was their Eucharistic liturgy?
Spem in alium
How was their Eucharistic liturgy? Beautiful. We had Adoration, Vespers and Mass, which was very peaceful and meditative. The priest gave a fifteen minute homily though because he said that his own discernment took "two seconds", which prompted a question from one of the sisters :) Why do you ask?
