Sounded weird at first but then I used to belong to a religion that baptises dead people so I can't really talk about weird religious practices. :P Makes sense now, thanks! What religion was that, I have never heard of that belief. People submit names to the temple of non mormons and a living person is baptized in proxy for the deceased. Technically you are only supposed to submit the names of your own ancestors but there are a lot of cases where that rule is broken.
