Shoes: Where Do You Draw The Line?

We've generally always kept our shoes on in the house. My sister doesn't like us wearing them in her house, though, so I always have to take my shoes off when I get into the house, and then of course I have to put them in the special shoe basket halfway around the house, because right beside the door or, God forbid, in the middle of the room (If you can imagine such a horror), simply won't do. :P I'll probably have a no-shoe rule in my house due to my general dislike of sweeping, unless of course my wife wants us to keep shoes on, of course.

Or you could just go all-out weeaboo (come on, we all know you want to).

I take my shoes off at home. Don't care if other people do. I love it if someone tells me to take my shoes off at their house, my toes like to be free.

It just depends on where I am.
I don't wear shoes inside my house; it just feels too weird, like I'm meant to be going somewhere. If I'm at my family's farm, I will take my shoes off whenever I go indoors, because they have (literal) crap on them. When I'm at someone else's house, I usually ask them if they want me to remove my shoes. Sometimes they'll say yes, but usually I can keep them on.

I grew up in Asia so my first instinct when I get into the house is to take my shoes off. But here people find that very weird so I've sort of trained myself not to unless someone asks.

I would go everywhere barefoot if I could.

Don't care what other people do so long as they let me go barefoot.
