Something I Discovered About Jesus' Blood!

Ok so I was watching a scientific dvd on the shroud of turin, and first off, for those that don't know the carbon dating that supposedly disproved that this was jesus' burial cloth has been ruled invalid, but that is a whole new topic. It was concluded that the blood on the linen cloth was type AB. I thought that was cool because I believe this was Jesus' burial cloth and we have some of his actual blood!

THEN, I was reading some apologetics I bought on the real presence of the Eucharist and I came across a miracle that happened around 700 AD when a priest in a monastary in Lanciano had serious doubts about the real presence. One morning at mass after he finished the consecration the host suddenly turned into a "circle of flesh" and the wine became visible blood. This amazed the priest and gave him faith and the hole church was in shock. The host and blood were put on permanent display. Pope Paul VI encouraged a scientific investigation in 1971. They concluded that the flesh is from a human heart and the BLOOD is type AB!!!!

SO I was like this is [edited by foundsheep] cool. I now wanted to do a search for blood types to see how common AB blood is you know, like how easy it is to hoax something like this, that was my first intention to see the percentage of people who have type AB blood. I found something that sent chills down my spine. I found the stats I wanted (3.6% of the population have blood type AB) but I also stumbled across a chart that I believe to show that there is no coincidence that Jesus' blood is type AB. Check the link:

http://www.bloodbook.com/type-facts.html

If you dont get the chill I did then maybe you missed that blood type AB is the ONLY blood type, of the eight types, that can RECEIVE all other blood types!!!!WOW!!!!THIS IS NOT A COINCIDENCE. All are called to the new and everlasting covenant. HE receives all.

Your thoughts....tell me I'm the first to discover this...please :D

Yeah, that is really cool! I've seen that, too -- that Jesus' blood was/is AB.

God bless,

Jesus could be the "universal donor" if he wanted -- Type O, hehe ;) ... hehehe. (i know O is universal donor because I'm type O)

But yeah...The Son of God is the Universal Receiver, too...of souls. :D

That is really cool stuff. Wow...

The blood type on the cloth which is claimed to be 'Veronicas veil' also matches that on the Turin Shroud......

One of the scientists who was personally involved in the carbon dating of the Shroud which suggested it was from the middle ages has recently publicly stated that the tests were deeply flawed and cannot therefore be considered accurate. He has no agenda in declaring this - he isn't Catholic and there is an argument that he discredits his own work by saying it!

Type O would have been cooler, but I still think this is not a coincidence. Only 3.6% have AB and it can receive all other blood types. Jesus receives us all.

There is a book out about the flaws in the original dating of the Shroud, it's called "The DNA of God". It was written by the guy who put the original test into question, and proved that they had actually just dated the thin film that had built around the shroud. Beneath the layer, it has been found to be from the time of Jesus.

I had heard about all that a few years ago. Thought it was cool, but the universal receiver info was a new one. Cool.

The flesh and blood are still intact by the way, and the flesh (the eucharist- just in case you missed the meaning) is of the heart just as you stated and STILL pliable... which is amazing also.

The fact that it was a eucharist and then became heart is responsible for thousands of conversions in France (I believe thats where it happened, if not, then wherever it happened, it caused a bit of an about face for many)

I wouldnt mind seeing it myself. But I believe it is only visible to the public every now and then.

Awesome.
He promised he'd be with us, even until the end of time.

Sweet.

Peace all.
