A while back I posted that I had been contemplating new work with a new company. I started with them several weeks ago, and things were looking good for a time.

 

Unfortunately the company is very small and very new, and things are looking very rough for us right now. They were able to give me work for a few weeks, and then stopped. Our founder is having health problems as well, which is really making things unstable for the company. I am not sure if this is going to continue to work out.

 

This is especially troubling for me, as I had really had my hopes up. My current employer is abusive, and I took the courage to stand up to him by believing that if he decided to fire me I'd have somewhere else to go. Now that's not there, and I don't know what will happen next.
