Honour
So my parish is having a retreat tomorrow, it is from 10am to 3pm and includes a lunch. I have really been wanting to go, and the hubby originally said he could watch my daughter but is now trying to back out. I've never been to one and I don't know how they usually go, I'm envisioning lots of bible study and prayer, not something that would be appropriate to being a kid (2-yr-old) along. I thought about joining after lunch leaving my daughter with my husband for a shorter period, most of which she would be napping through. But I don't know if that would even work schedule wise with the retreat events. I'm sure that are all different but can anyone tell me generally how they go so i can work out sone options? It's at our church and hosted by the priest. Thanks guys!
Honour
I am considering calling up the POC for the event to try to get more info too. And finding a babysitter this late is out of the picture. I've never used one anyway so....
carmenchristi
Call and get info. Sometimes (though not always) they have babysitters at the retreat.
