Does Anyone Here Know Much About Medical Stuff?

Somehow, I get the feeling that only three people here are actually in the medical field.

Yup. See post 7.

Hasan is not a doctor. He is in politics. As for the other guy, a PhD in philosophy or hot air does not count in the medical field.

I periodically get some sort of twitching tension around my eyes/temples that makes sound around my eustachion tubes. I do not know why. It comes in clusters and has happened 3 times starting Wednesday night.

Oops, I was wrong..

I'm sorry, you have AIDS. It's terminal.

Four people here are in the medical profession. :)

A quick Google search says the "eustachion tubes" connect the middle ear to the throat. They help the ears drain fluid and maintain air pressure. So...how did you draw the connection between twitching eyes and that?

I'm a doctor in real life, insert standard disclaimer here.

Are you getting enough sleep?  Have you been under any extra stress or anxiety recently? Any changes in your diet (including caffeine & alcohol)?  Allergies?

Ardill looks great in short shorts. He should join our dance team for the talent show.

We'll win for sure.

I replaced Excedrine with a Chinese herbal mix for lungs and the occasional soda about a week before it started. I have been trying to get 6.5 hours of sleep recently instead of 5.5. I had a real experience of needing more sleep before a job interview.

Had the car accident last weekend with injury-slow speed, soft tissue damage, taking an Aleve a day and Baclofen three times a day with the occasional heating pad or pain patch at night. Tried to add a class-did not get it. Interviewed for, thought I did not get, then got an internship. Was talking over some stuff that also touches on some painful memories.

A nursing student saw it on G+ and said it sounds like TMJ and suggested a facial massage.

Instead of asking internet people, why not go to an actual doctor's office..

Don't worry. I speak to actually human beings.

If you've already visited the doctor, then why are you asking a Catholic internet forum?

I have been to the doctor more than anyone else here, I am willing to guess, with the exception of FutureCarmeliteClaire, and they get you to understand what's wrong with you.  You could Captain Morgan on my medical files, my doc says it is noticeably larger than the Manhattan phone book (If there still is such a thing).  I have been to the best of the best only to leave them deeply puzzled in multiple subjects.  So in other words if your problem is tourette syndrome related:  I am the most qualified hereI would say, otherwise I am prolly not worth your time ;-)

I did not visit my doctor after this started, am still learning my way around having medical insurance and, and, and, and... How important is this answer to you? And BTW, I did get some useful information here, shocking as that may be. See, some people actually answer honestly about having medical experience and can at least provide some measure of advice when you are looking for some and tracking a lot of different things.

Thank you to the couple of you I PMed.

This thread no longer serves any useful purpose. RIP, thread.
