Intro To Apologist Song. Where Did This Come From?

Does anyone know where this quote came from at the beginning of the Apologist's song?

"In insisting upon explaining how the Church has changed, perhaps for a full generation, we haven't insisted that we have to change. That the first call of conversion--the first call from the Lord--is to repent, convert, displace your ego so that He can make us into instruments of His mission.

And if, in fact, we spend so much time explaining why the Church changes, and haven't spent enough time repeating the call of the Lord to convert--to allow Him to change us--then inevitably, for all of us, there are tensions between what the Church teaches and how we would like to live if left to our own devices.

We assume, 'Well, the Church has to change'. But the Church can't change--it's Faith--although it can change its expression of it. We have to change, fundamentally, and we have to change in such a way that once converted to Christ we want to change our society."
